My website was first published in June of 2021, and since then, my website has evolved extensively.

My old site's home page taken on October 11th in 2021
Over the past 3 years, my website has gained over 76 pages, which is a lot to keep track of. For a long time, I have been thinking about rebuilding my website from the ground up, and that’s exactly what I did.
I started by learning completely different software that allowed me complete customization over each and every page. I drafted many website designs and immediately began developing once I felt an idea would work. I kept the most important pages at the top and arranged them in an order that felt natural.
At the core of my website is my discography, which is the page that took the longest to design. I wanted listeners to have easy and quick access to all of my songs, and for newer listeners to have the ability to discover new music. I developed a filtering system that simplified my songs into their basic categories, and a search option for instant access to specific songs.

My current sites music page
There is so much information about each song of mine, that having each song on its own separately formatted page would be unintuitive and constantly unfamiliar. That’s why I kept the format of each song page consistent and adjusted all the details that are unique to the song. At the top of each page is the title of the song, with a custom backdrop that matches the song’s cover. Next is where to listen to the song. Then there is a large display of the song cover, followed by a short description and details about the song.

Lost Echoes' song page
Releasing an album is very special to me. That’s why I gave my two albums unique pages. These can be accessed by finding a song from the album and pressing the “About album” button. There are many other new pages and details that I have spread across the site to be discovered :)
One huge change you may notice between my new and old site and my new site is speed. My old site contained over 100 images, gifs, and videos. I was heavily limited by the technology available, so when I created this new site from scratch, I made speed one of my top priorities.
Based on data from Chrome, on the first visit my old website took around 3.50 seconds to finish loading, while on my new site, load times are less than 0.70 seconds.
Home page load times
On my music page, load times have been more than halved. Once you open my new site, your browser does not waste time and immediately pre-renders the image files of the discography page.

If you’ve already explored my new site, you may have already encountered a new common icon. I call it the “Vortex Continuum”, and it is the face of my website.
I hope you enjoy exploring my new site, and rediscover my music from a new perspective. For the next few weeks, I will be updating my site often based on user feedback, so don’t be afraid to
provide feedback here.
